Student Bands Night

It’s time to dust off your instruments, get the band back together, and prove yourselves on a real stage, because Student Band is back! Some bands are born in a garage, some in a student dorm kitchen, and some completely by accident after lectures. No matter where your story began, anyone has a shot at taking home the Student Band 2026 title… Registration is now officially open, with more information about the competition coming soon. ❗️Important information for participants:❗️ 📌 The competition consists of two stages: the demo round and the finale. Participation is free of charge. 📌 For the demo round, bands must submit two original songs, with at least one recorded as a video performance. The submission deadline is 25 August. Submit your songs here! 📌 Based on the submitted entries, the jury will select 5 bands to advance to the finale. 📌 In the finale, each band will have 20 minutes to perform their set, which must also include a cover of a designated song. The cover song will be announced together with the list of finalists. 🏆 In addition to the grand prize, awards will also be presented for Best Vocalist, Best Instrumentalist, Best Cover Performance, and the Audience Favourite. All winners will be selected by a jury of musicians. 📌 Please note: Every band must include at least one member who is currently studying at any higher education institution in Estonia. All band members must be 18 years of age or older.

Night Basketball

Night Basketball brings together students, basketball fans and groups of friends who want to test their teamwork in a fast-paced late-night tournament. Quick passes, bold shots and great energy meet on the court. Both experienced players and those joining mainly for the experience and good company are welcome. Form a team of up to five players and register before all available places are filled. The exact tournament format and schedule will depend on the number of registered teams and will be sent to participants before the event. Every team will play several matches, with the best teams of the evening advancing to the final games. Bring clean indoor shoes, comfortable sportswear and a water bottle. Teams should arrive at least 20 minutes before their first match so that registration can be confirmed and the most important rules explained. Game balls will be provided, and the organisers and referees will take care of running the matches. Come to play, support your friends or simply enjoy the atmosphere of late-night basketball. The final score is not the only thing that matters – fair play, good spirits and a memorable Student Days evening are just as important.
